These fancy lanterns might look 'design' and thus very expensive, but nope... They are DIY and easy to make! I'm going to give it a go tomorrow. I think they will look amazing lining the back of our kitchen table.

Be aware that to make this tutorial a success, you must buy battery operated tea lights! Regular tea lights will set the place ablaze - and you might not want that to happen...
In the Netherlands these safe little candles can be bought at Xenos, Blokker or Hema. They are cheap, but durable.
My lights will look like a faraway, foreign city... Like Japan, with temples and teahouses. What will your city look like?
