We're going to New York in less than three weeks! While booking a trip to Barcelona we stumbled upon a banner for a trip to New York. Within a few seconds we decided to change plans and go to NY instead...
We've been there about two years ago and we loved it. We've seen a lot last time, but there's so much that we haven't discovered yet...
Two years ago we stayed at W hotel on Times Square. My heaven... that was quite the experience... Beaming billboards, the endless cries of sirens, cabs driving past all night... But it sure was something different... I loved every minute of it. Including the sleepless nights... But heck... Who sleeps in NY right?
This year we'll be staying in W hotel again, only this time the one on Lexington Avenue... Can't wait to stare out the window in the middle of the night, overlooking the city...
I'm working my way through the Lonely Planet now and marking the things I want to see. One thing's for sure... We're going to take in as much live jazz-music as we possibly can!
Counting down the days now...
